World of Warcraft Upgrades and Item Upgrading

Components

An upgrade can have a prefix or suffix that alters the name of the equipment with the upgrade (for instancefor example "Canthan Armor Insignia" becomes Canthan Armor of Minor Vigor). Certain upgrades boost the Mark Rarity or Level of an item, allowing players to create stronger versions of the item using less upgrade crystals than they require to achieve the same level using standard methods.
A boost upgrade can alter the attack or defense attributes of an armored weapon or. These upgrades can be obtained by purchasing them from the cash shop or collecting them from enemies when upgrading other equipment.

Glyphs, the sole upgrade component which can be removed without restriction and replaced again are the most popular. Only legendary equipment can be salvaged and replaced using the help of a Black Lion Salvage Kit.
The value of each Glyph is displayed when you choose it in your inventory. You can replace it with another Glyph that is the same or higher rank to boost the value of the Glyph.
You can find Glyphs in the Black Lion Trading Post, as part of the Gem Store purchase or bundle with certain tools for gathering unlimited use, and through Faction Crypt raids. Every Faction Crypt can drop one of these Glyphs. There are also some rare glyphs which you can find in any of the Faction Crypts.
Once you have gotten the desired Glyphs you will require them to be put on your gear. Each Glyph unlocks a bonus that will boost the stats of a specific set of nodes that are within the radius of the Glyph. It can be +40 for one of your primary stats or +25 for two of your secondary stats, based on the Glyph.
Glyphs boost all nodes that are connected to them, therefore it is recommended to place Glyphs in the most important places on the Graph. This will maximize the impact. Leveling

When the player upgrades an item, the base item is replaced by a new item of the same type. The same armor will receive an weapon or shield when upgraded. The new item also comes with its own bonus. This could be a drawback in that the item could increase in price even if you don't require it.
If the player has enough tokens, they can roll item upgrade s. This will cause the item to be traded for a new one, with the level 1 base, and a totally different set of bonuses. This is a good option for some items, but it shouldn't be performed frequently, since it can waste many resources.
